Founder Edee Franklin Honored in Same Ceremony as Domestic Violence Victims

October is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Sanctum House Founder Edee Franklin was a recipient of a special award by the Oakland County Coordinating Council Against Domestic Violence (OCCCADV) at its annual Oakland County Domestic Violence Prevention Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 5.

“Today was very special and I am humbled to be a part of this mission,” said Franklin.The awards ceremony honored those who have demonstrated commitment to domestic violence survivors and memorialized victims who lost their lives to domestic violence in Oakland County.
